Changing gear down to take speed off a little bit.
Will stay in Dunedin for two days. It is a good place to stay.
A vibrant place about 100.000 inhabitants plus a large amount of students from all over the world.

I had read about a person, being so impressed by a certain beach, that he had broke a tunnel into the beach’s wall to get to that beach with his family and hold picnics there.
BTW - thats not the tunnel on the following picture. That one is a little smaller. But the tunnel starts left to this place.
„Tunnel Beach“.
Easy to get down. 20mins walk from the parking lot.
Getting back up took me not 40mins as indicated by an information plate.
I made it in 30mins. Some exercise . I was pretty exhausted after being at the camper again. Some kind of depressive was that two middle aged Kiwi ladies, who have been at the beach level while I was half way up already turned up 5 mins after I had arrived at the camper.
Those Kiwis are really used to steep hills.
BTW Dunedin has the steepest road on world.

Dunedin was getting rich during the Gold Rush in NZ. As in California this was around the end of the 19th century.
Dunedin is the Gaelic name for Edinburgh. The first Europeans came in from Edinburgh and have built the town.
Dunedin is the presenting itself as the most Victorian town outside of UK, England, Great Britain? The UK folks may choose the correct expression.
The railway station expresses the dedication of Dunedin’s inhabitants of that time.
Up that street is Octagon, the eight cornered town center square.
