I did arrive at Auckland International Airport on Saturday morning 23rd of November for the third time in my life.
It felt different. I would have loved to share the NZ experience with my partner.

A mind-opening immigration experience taught me to be more careful with what I say .
The officer asked me „... and did you got that tattoo last time?...“
During immigration in 2011 in what I though to be a casual conversation with the immigration officer while walking to his station we were talking about her maori tattoo. I must have said I will get some too.
It made it into the books obviously.

Ponsonby is my location for the next two nights. I was walking around the place and taking the first shots. They have to get better. May eye is not ready at this time. It will take a couple of days to see pictures boxed in 3:4
Pict.1: The omni-present Sky Tower of Auckland
Pict.2 : Ponsonby - Park
Ponsonby is a pretty vibrant part of Auckland with nice restaurants and bars.
On the first evening, the Saturday, I was running into a a dating couple of my age, a pretty she from New York living in Auckland for years now, and he, a married person according to his ring finger .
We had a funny conversation about this and that and everything. Jet lagged I pulled out at some point because could feel he was getting more and more uncomfortable about my presence. I have no ideas why
On my way to the hostel I ran into another group of three young couples being out for the Saturday evening. One of the guys was a „Kraut Rock“ fan and I was thinking back to my 17th birthday, when Kraut Rock started to catch ground in Germany. I had forgotten about Kraut Rock completely until that evening.
Finally after two more glasses of wine I made it back to the Hostel around 10pm and felt into a dreamless sleep until just before 5am the on the Sunday.
